Life as a flight attendant can be quite stressful.

A former flight attendant reveals which passenger behavior bothered her the most.

“Don’t do that when you travel, friends!” warns Kat Kalamani.

The former flight attendant is doing herself and all flight attendants a favor and warning online about what behavior passengers should avoid.

According to her TikTok video, the American worked as a flight attendant for six years and therefore knows exactly what happens far too often.

Kalamani also recently explained why flight attendants greet guests at the aircraft entrance.

1. Hand in barf bags and full diapers

At first, Kalamani complains about full diapers and burp bags that passengers give her.

Passengers are probably just as uncomfortable having to hand over these items.

But wouldn't it be easier to discreetly ask for a trash can instead?

A mother of four children also said this in a comment under the video: “I would ask where I can dispose of the diaper.” Kalamani further explains that she finds it very disgusting to have to touch a diaper or burp bag with her bare hand .

2. Press the call button during turbulence

The next behavior is not exactly disgusting, but rather annoying for flight attendants.

Namely when passengers press the call button during a turbulent phase of the flight.

This is also particularly impractical shortly after take-off or before landing, because flight attendants, like passengers, have to wear their seatbelts during take-off and landing, as a spokesman for the

Independent Flight Attendants Organization (UFO)

explained to the

Süddeutsche Zeitung

.

Many flight attendants actually love turbulence because it allows them to take a short break.

What becomes difficult when someone has pressed the call button again.

3. Attempts at flirting by married men

Kalamani explains the next aspect with just five words: “Married men who flirt with you.”

“And what about single men?” asks a follower in the comments, but receives no answer.

It has long been known that flight attendants use a secret code to signal when they find a passenger attractive.

4. Go barefoot to the airplane toilet

Finally, the ex-flight attendant criticizes people who go barefoot in the airplane toilets.

According to another flight attendant, they are often not cleaned particularly well.

So it's understandable that Kalamani finds it very unhygienic to go to the toilet without shoes and socks.

Her followers can hardly believe that someone would do something like that: “Are people really that incredibly disgusting?”

But something similar seems to have happened to another person and she commented: “To this day I am traumatized by a woman who went barefoot into the airplane bathroom and then put her feet on the folding table.”

Kalamani isn't the only flight attendant who finds passengers' habits annoying.

An Australian flight attendant has also expressed her displeasure.
