Who blames Gentilly town hall?
The municipal technical center was the target of a fire on the night of Monday January 29 to Tuesday January 30.
Around midnight, the flames began to devour several utility vehicles parked on site.
In total, five pickup trucks and small vans were destroyed.
“Only material damage was reported and the fire was brought under control thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighters,” says the Gentilly town hall.
The vehicles were parked outside.
Firefighters helped prevent the fire from spreading to the building, which was slightly damaged but remains in good condition and usable.
The trail of a criminal origin was immediately favored.
“Two fire outbreaks were noted, in two places separated by several tens of meters, therefore without being linked to a possible propagation effect,” explains the entourage of Mayor Patricia Tordjman (PCF).
“Unacceptable and absurd rampages”
“We condemn with the greatest firmness this act of malevolence which endangers the security of all citizens,” reacts the city.
These unacceptable and absurd rampages also seriously undermine municipal public services.
By attacking municipal public property and the work tools of the municipality's workers, it is in fact the common property of all Gentilleans that is affected and destroyed.
