This is what the hotel complex on Hirschbergstrasse could look like.
However, it won't be another Barefoot Hotel from Til Schweiger.

Til Schweiger (60) wanted to expand the list of his Barefoot Hotels with another four-star hotel on Hirschbergstrasse in Bad Wiessee, but now the dream has shattered.
Bad Wiessee - Rainer Leidecker from Tegernseer Grund GmbH, project developer and co-owner of the property on Wiesseer Hirschbergstrasse, had already made it clear at a local council meeting in July 2023: “It could be that we will make a change.” It is questionable whether Til Schweiger would be good for the success of the hotel in the medium and long term.
Negative headlines that Til Schweiger caused at the time because of alleged abuse of power on the set of the film “Manta, Manta – Second Part” as well as alleged alcohol problems caused a bad feeling among the hotel developers.
Now it's clear: Til Schweiger is out - and with it the Arcona Hotel & Resort Group from Rostock, which is developing its barefoot hotels worldwide with the actor and his name as its driving force.
Most recently, a house was opened in Mallorca in July 2022.
Bad Wiessee was supposed to be the next coup, the opening was planned for 2024.
The fact that Arcona went bankrupt at the end of 2023 was the reason for Leidecker to finally pull the ripcord.
“We no longer liked this development,” says Leidecker.
That's why the hotel chain was terminated on June 30th.
However, Leidecker emphasizes: “We are in contact with four well-known hotel groups as operators.” He does not want to name any names.

What does Til Schweiger's broken dream mean for the project itself?
The plans have been in development since 2018.
Residents and the Tegernsee Valley Protection Association initially protested because of the dimensions, although a first draft would have corresponded to the approved development plan from 2014.
In 2021, a required display scaffold made the extent of the four-story, 70-meter block clear, and due to public protest, the planners led by architect Christof Lampadius made a U-turn: in spring 2022, they presented a hotel complex consisting of three buildings connected in the form of elongated courtyards with intermediate buildings.
The resort with 103 rooms includes a restaurant, a bar with a roof terrace, wellness and an underground car park.
Since the local council approved the draft development plan in July 2023 with one dissenting vote, there have been no new developments regarding the structural issue.
There is also no concrete building application yet.
The project is dragging on.
“We are currently in the process of signing the implementation contract with the developers,” says building authority manager Anton Bammer.

Mayor Robert Kühn (SPD) reacts calmly to the news: “It’s actually no surprise,” he says.
People in the community are happy that the 2022 replanning has removed the massiveness compared to the first plan.
Kühn also says: “We are now waiting patiently to see what happens next.” SPD parliamentary group spokesman Bernd Kuntze-Fechner also reacts calmly: “A hotel at this point would be good.
But the name Til Schweiger hadn’t impressed us in any way so far.”
The fact that Til Schweiger appears to be sharply criticizing Leidecker in
BILD
and accuses him of not having been able to get building rights for a great hotel for many years and that he is only trying to distract from his problems, is what Leidecker comments on: “Til Schweiger would only be been named after.
Although I still like his brand, our aim is to create a great hotel for Bad Wiessee.
The circumstances surrounding him and the development of the Arcona chain have forced us to take new paths."
