In an Olympic year, sport is available everywhere and as much as possible.
It is in this logic that the Order of masseurs-physiotherapists signed its very first local partnership this Tuesday morning with the city of Clichy, which will result in the organization of #SportKinéSanté week from March 18 to 24.
“For us, the city is the best level to effectively bring public policies to life,” estimates Pascale Mathieu, president of the national council of the order of masseurs-physiotherapists, recalling that “since confinement, 37% of 6-10 years and 73% of 11-17 year olds do not meet the recommendations for physical activity.
She obviously highlights her profession as being “an essential player in prevention” and not just the role of “rehabilitators of high-level athletes”.
The objective is therefore to raise awareness among all audiences about sports practice, as a real tool in the fight against the ills of a sedentary lifestyle, starting with musculoskeletal disorders (MSD).

Some of them will also put on their crampons on Saturday March 23 for the gala match against the Variétés Club de France which brings together former professional players.
A team whose captain will be Serge Betsen.

The Clichois “at heart” will defend on this occasion his association Serge Betsen Académie (SBA) which has worked for twenty years with children, particularly in Cameroon and Mali, in favor of access to health and education.
“It is an honor for me to have been chosen for this event and I will put together, by calling on some of my former rugby colleagues, but also from other sports, a solid team ready to do battle to put on a great show” .
