At the Feast of Saint Devota, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella proved once again that there is no difference between them.

They celebrated the patron saint of Monaco with their parents.

Monaco – The Feast of Saint Devota is a significant event in the Monegasque calendar and a special occasion for the royal family.

The celebrations begin on the eve of January 27th in Monaco with the traditional burning of a wooden fishing boat in front of the Sainte-Dévote church.

Prince Jacques (9) and Princess Gabriella (9) had the honor of lighting the boat with torches, accompanied by their parents, Prince Albert (65) and Princess Charlène of Monaco (46).

Great atmosphere at Jacques' and Gabriella's performance with Charlène and Albert

This was a special moment for the twins, who were visibly happy.

As at the “Open Air Circus Show” two weeks earlier, Princess Gabriella appeared in the luxurious style of her mother Charlène.

Her checkered cashmere coat from Burberry, which at around 1300 euros was even more expensive than her last Dior outfit, was a real eye-catcher.

But even more striking than Gabriella's designer coat was her close bond with her twin brother Jacques.

The twins hugged each other again and again and beamed with joy.

The Festival of Sainte Dévote seems to be one of the young royals' favorite events.

While Princess Charlène of Monaco looked on with a smile, Prince Albert II kept leaning down to Jacques and Gabriella to show them something.

Sainte Dévote, the patron saint of Monaco and Corsica

On January 27th, the feast of Saint Devota is celebrated in Monaco.

According to legend, the Christian martyr was tortured to death in Corsica in the 4th century AD.

While the body was being transported to Africa by ship, a dove is said to have emerged from her mouth during a storm and guided the boat to Monaco.

Since 1924, a boat has traditionally been burned in front of the Sainte-Dévote church named after the saint on the evening before the festival.

Perhaps the twins were simply too exhausted after the previous evening's festivities and so were given a break.

Recently, Jacques and Gabriella have often attended their parents' public appearances.

Princess Charlène of Monaco recently celebrated her birthday in public, and of course her husband Albert and their two children were also there.
