Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival – 2 March, Kingston - The Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival, which this year will take place on 2 March in its usual venue - the historic Newcastle Parade Grounds in St. Andrew -, is a true celebration of everything that revolves around the world of coffee: from farmers to baristas, up to consumers who love and choose this drink.

The one-of-a-kind event also offers farmers, companies and sellers the opportunity to showcase their products and demonstrate the versatility of coffee.

With the city of Kingston as its backdrop, this highly anticipated festival aims to offer a 360° experience for all attendees: an engaging day and a unique moment to learn about Jamaican cuisine, coffee and culture, showcasing arts and indigenous crafts and reggae music performances.

Carnival – 3 – 9 April, Kingston - Carnival in Jamaica is a real explosion of parties, concerts, dances and much more.

The celebrations begin a week before the parade and come alive between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, but the heart of the events and the famous final parade takes place in the streets of Kingston.

With over 100,000 attendees each year, the Jamaican Carnival represents the spirit of the island with an explosion of colour, music, food and spectacular dancing, offering an experience not to be missed.

The highlight is the National Carnival Road March, scheduled this year for March 7;

The festival, held at Treasure Beach on the island's southern coast, first came to life in 2001, when three Jamaicans - the novelist Colin Channer, the poet Kwame Dawes and the producer Justine Henzell - created it with the goal of creating a world-class literary festival with roots in Jamaica and ramifications to the rest of the world.

All festival events are free and open to the public, passion is the only price of admission.

Passion that characterizes the energetic spirit of Jamaicans and all those who decide to take part in this great celebration.
