A man was attacked with a knife in the Sonnenstrasse area.

Police are looking for witnesses after a knife attack in Munich.
And the alleged perpetrators.
Munich - The police were called to Prielmayerstrasse via an emergency call on Monday evening (January 29th) around 7:30 p.m.: A person had been injured with a knife there and two suspects had fled towards the main train station.

According to the police report, at the corner of Sonnenstrasse and Prielmayerstrasse, the emergency services encountered a 24-year-old man living in Munich who had a bleeding wound in his buttocks area.
With him was his 20-year-old companion, who also lives in Munich.

The two suspects had fled towards the main train station, so an emergency unit with the support of the federal police immediately took over the search for the suspected perpetrators.
According to police, the 24-year-old injured man said he got into an argument with the two perpetrators.
The stab wound with a folding knife then suddenly occurred.
The 20-year-old companion was attacked with pepper spray.
The police are looking for witnesses
The 24-year-old had to be taken to hospital by emergency services, while his companion was treated as an outpatient.
The police are now looking for the suspected perpetrators: One is around 25 years old, around 1.70 meters tall, has dark hair and was wearing jeans and a burgundy jacket.
The other is also around 25 years old, around 1.60 meters tall and was wearing dark sweatpants and a black jacket.
The police are also asking for information: Anyone who has noticed anything in the area of Prielmayerstrasse, Sonnenstrasse and Schlosserstrasse during the specified period should contact us on 089/29100.
