The Ministry of Health updated today (Tuesday) that a major malfunction appeared in the "Camelion" system, which is used by several hospitals to administer medication to patients.
Following the malfunction, the scope of which is still being examined, lists of incorrect medications appeared for some patients who receive them regularly.
The inspection by the Ministry of Health shows that there are dozens of cases.
As a result of the case, there is a serious concern that the wrong drugs were given, or in the wrong dosage, which caused a risk in the hospitalization of patients.
However, it is not yet known about a case with clinical significance or about damage caused to the hospitalized.
The very existence of the fault was discovered ten days ago, and it affected most hospitals in the country - the government ones and the "Kallit" medical centers.
However, it has not yet become clear when it began, and what its origin is.
The Ministry of Health fears that it started about two months ago and affected patients with repeated hospitalizations.
