Checked on January 22 in Chantilly because he was making a phone call while driving his Jaguar, Florent R., 29, probably did not realize how far this banal road check would take him.
Because what could have resulted in a simple fine will result in his immediate appearance this Monday at the Senlis court, to answer for a whole series of offenses.
In addition to the use of the telephone while driving, the gendarmes noted that the vehicle had neither insurance nor up-to-date technical inspections, and that the driver no longer had a driving license.
Subjected to a drug test, Florent R. tested positive for cannabis and cocaine while the dog squad dog marked several places in the car.
No narcotics will be found there but all these elements are enough to order a search of his home in Lamorlaye.

The gendarmes discovered 34 ecstasy tablets and almost a kilo of cannabis in various forms, part of which was directly cultivated on site by Florent B. Conversations on WhatsApp confirmed that he was in the habit of selling part of this production.
Unfortunate elements since he was already convicted of trafficking offenses in 2018 and he was on an electronic bracelet at the time of his arrest.
“It was mainly for my own consumption, even if I happened to help out friends,” Florent R. explains in a detached tone.
