A truck crashed into the pillar of a railway bridge on Tuesday afternoon.

There are currently cancellations and delays on S-Bahn line 7.

The reason: A truck rammed the bridge pillar between Wolfratshausen and Icking.

Rescue workers have already closed the B11 in both directions.

It's not just drivers who feel the effects of the accident.

The truck was traveling between Icking and its Wachstadt district around 12.30 p.m. when, for reasons that are still unclear, it hit the bridge pillar and as a result overturned.

The narrow road is blocked by the vehicle and both directions are currently not passable.

Now Deutsche Bahn has reported that the bridge may have been damaged.

“There are currently no train journeys possible between Wolfratshausen and Icking,” says the timetable information.

The trains should turn around in Icking and head back to the state capital.

A replacement rail service will be set up.
