Tourism Minister Daniela Santanché was cleared Tuesday of involvement in an alleged fraud caseregarding alleged tax dodging in the sale of a boat involving her former partner Giovanni Canio Mazzaro.
A Milan preliminary investigations judge (GIP) said the bigwig Premier Gorgia Meloni's right wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) party had no role in the affair.
Santanchè "had not played an active role in the purchase and, therefore, in the subsequent sale of the boat Unica," said theGIP, Angela Laura Minerva.
No fraudulent misappropriation was committed, she said.
