Tragedy in Tyrol: 64-year-old snowboarder from Germany dies after colliding with a skier (16) on the slopes (symbolic photo).

Terrible accident on the slopes: A snowboarder (64) from Germany died after a crash with a skier (16).
Nauders – A skier and a snowboarder collided in the Nauders ski area in Tyrol (Austria) on Monday afternoon (January 29th).
The snowboarder from Germany suffered fatal injuries.
The 16-year-old skier was flown to Zams Hospital.
Snowboarder fatally injured on slope – accident witness tries to revive German
It is still unclear how the tragic collision occurred.
According to the Austrian police, the fatal accident occurred around 3 p.m. on the blue runway number two.
An accident witness immediately tried to revive the man after the crash, but the measures “were negative,” according to the police.
The skier from Denmark was flown to hospital with injuries of an unspecified degree.
An autopsy on the German was ordered, it said.
Two rescue helicopters were in use: the Nauders piste rescue service, the Alpine police and the Nauders police.
Fatal accidents occurred while skiing in Austria last weekend.
A 19-year-old German died in hospital from his injuries.
A German (24) crashed into a sign while skiing in Tyrol and was seriously injured.
