Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana will take off next week for a political visit to the USA during which he will meet with the Speaker of the American House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
El Ohana will be accompanied by a special delegation - nine-year-old Emily Hand, who was released from Hamas captivity and her father Thomas.
Zvika and Efrat Mor, the parents of Eitan Mor who is still in captivity.
Ali Alziadna, whose nieces Aisha and Belial were released but his brother Yosef and nephew Hamza remained captives of Hamas as well as Knesset members from the opposition and the coalition.

The delegation will take off at the beginning of the week for the USA and the meeting between Ohana and Johnson will take place in Congress on Tuesday. As part of the diplomatic visit, Ohana is expected to hold policy meetings with senior officials in and outside Congress, the leadership of AIPAC, Jewish organizations, as well as speak at a conference of the International Association of Parliaments at the UN headquarters.
The parliamentary delegation that will leave the Knesset for Capitol Hill will be represented by members of the Knesset from the opposition and the coalition: the chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Security Committee MK Yuli Edelstein (Likud), MK Efrat Reiten (Labor) and MK Idan Roll (Yesh Atid).
The order reflects the strength of the commitment.

The Knesset noted that the invitation of the Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, to the USA by the Speaker of the American Congress, Mike Johnson, during a time of war, first and foremost reflects the strength of the commitment and the depth of the existing partnership between the countries.
The Knesset also emphasized that the purpose of the visit of the delegation joining the Speaker of the Knesset is to establish the parliamentary, political and informational climate among legislators and policy makers in the US for the purposes of the war: the destruction of the military and political capabilities of Hamas and the return of all the abductees
