The State Attorney's Office submitted today (Tuesday) a request to disclose the details of the case in which an Israeli citizen impersonated an officer and was exposed to classified information. 

The State Attorney's Office submitted to the District Court in Be'er Sheva a request to allow the publication of the details of the affair. The court is being asked to allow the publication of a version of the indictment, from which only details that the security forces sought to cover were omitted.

In the request submitted by the Southern District Attorney's Office, it is stated that "after additional thinking and consideration and consultation with the relevant security officials, the attorney's office believes that at the present time it is possible to reduce the gag order further beyond the paraphrase provided. The attorney's office requests that the remaining conditions of the gag order be left as they are, and that the hearings continue to conduct behind closed doors".

About three weeks ago it was allowed to be published, that at the end of a joint investigation by the Shin Bet and the National Unit for International Investigations in Lahab 433, the Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the case of an Israeli citizen, in the district court in Be'er Sheva.
