There is a lot on offer for young and old in the town of Geretsried until Ash Wednesday.

Geretsried – What could it be?
Princess, clown, Maya the Bee or would you rather be a witch?
Carnival fans will soon be spoiled for choice when it comes to their costumes.
But luckily you don't have to choose just one disguise.
In Geretsried, young and old fools can dress up in different costumes over several days.
Colorful hustle and bustle and balls are on the agenda for the next few weeks.
Islander Ball
The Wolfratshauser carnival society Narreninsel invites you to the Insulanerball on Saturday, February 3rd.
The ball starts at 8 p.m. in the council chambers, admission is from 7 p.m. and entry costs 17 euros, the carnival society informs on its website.
Tickets are available in advance at Dampfoase Geretsried at Egerlandstraße 63. The show band “Sauguad” from Munich is playing.
Children's ball
The carnival society also invites you to the children's ball again.
It will also take place in the council chambers on Sunday, February 4th.
Entry is from 1 p.m., starts at 2 p.m.
“Bayern Hans” from Geretsried will provide entertainment.
Entry costs four euros for children and five euros for adults.

Children's carnival
The children's carnival for six to 13 year olds will take place on Sunday, February 11th.
You can celebrate and dance in the council chambers from 2 p.m.
The Walter Autsch Band ensures the atmosphere, and the children's guard from Narrhalla Oberschleißheim also performs.
The event lasts until 5 p.m. and entry costs four euros.

Primordial cell run
On Shrove Tuesday, February 13th, there will be another round of music from the show band Blow Up on Karl-Lederer-Platz from 1 p.m.
The carnival guard from the Wolfratshausen Fool's Island will also be showing off their skills there on this day.
The roots of the Transylvanian Saxons traditionally pick up Mayor Michael Müller at the town hall, and their appearance follows at around 1.30 p.m.
According to the city's announcement, local clubs take care of your physical well-being.
Sweep away
The sweep in the Geretsried council chambers finally ends the crazy hustle and bustle in the city, also on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th, from 5 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.).
The solo entertainer Andi will provide the atmosphere, announces the fool's island Wolfratshausen.
Entry costs five euros.
