Under a cemetery: a terror tunnel and living quarters of senior Hamas officials/IDF spokesman
About a month after the CNN report, the IDF revealed this evening (Tuesday) the ability to flow water into Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip. In a statement published by an IDF spokesman, it was stated that the forces are flowing water into the tunnels at a high rate through a complex system of pumps and pipes.
It was also written that the activation of the water flow capacity was preceded by an in-depth analysis aimed at making sure that the tunnels were flooded in a way that did not harm the groundwater in the area.

With the reports, about a month ago, about the flooding of the Hamas tunnels, the families of the abductees expressed fear that the tunnels would be flooded while their loved ones were still there.
The President of the United States, Joe Biden then referred to the report and said that "first we make sure that there are no abductees inside those tunnels".
Hamas spokesman Osama Hamdan also commented on the report and said at a press conference he held in Beirut that the organization's tunnels were built with the ability to resist flooding attempts.
