The United States ambassador to Argentina,
Marc Stanley,
announced a possible meeting between
Javier Milei and Joe Biden
before the end of the year.
More precisely, the representative of the Democratic administration in the country said that
the leaders will meet in Brazil,
within the framework of the G20 summit that will take place in November.
Stanley said that he would like the presidents to hold a bilateral meeting, but warned that the United States will go through a strong period of electoral campaign this year with elections on November 5.
"This is an election year so
I anticipate that they will meet in Brazil at the G20 this year.
I anticipate that they will meet in other forums soon. If we can have a bilateral meeting, I would love to," said the United States diplomatic representative, in statements to

.
Stanley recalled that he had "the honor" of having arranged Milei's visit to the White House days after his victory in the runoff election and prior to assuming the presidency.
"We were trying to get President Biden to pass, but he had to go to Atlanta to Rosalynn Carter's funeral," said the diplomat, while emphasizing that the American "wanted to do it, but he had to leave that day."
