The end of political paralysis is in sight in Northern Ireland.
After almost two years of blockage, the DUP (Democratic Unionist Party), the main unionist party, has accepted an agreement which should end the boycott of local institutions.
Finally giving a glimpse of the end of a crisis which is weakening the peace agreements signed in 1998.
In the middle of the night from Monday to Tuesday, the leader of the DUP, Jeffrey Donaldson, announced that he had had his party endorse an agreement concluded with the British government on post-Brexit trade rules.
The decision was taken after a stormy meeting lasting more than five hours, to finally convince the 130 executives of the unionist party.

I believe this deal will put in place measures that are good for Northern Ireland, which will restore our place within the United Kingdom and its internal market
