“We believe that retirement must be the fruit of work.”
Prime Minister Gabriel Attal announced Tuesday that unemployed people at the end of their rights would no longer have a specific solidarity allowance, which allowed them to contribute towards their retirement, in his general policy speech to the National Assembly.
The head of government will propose
“the switch of the solidarity allowance specific to the RSA and the elimination of this allowance”
.
The RSA does not allow quarters of retirement to be validated.
Gabriel Attal also announced the generalization to all departments by the beginning of 2025 of the experimentation of conditioning the RSA at 15 hours of activity per week, for integration.
