After the attack on Sunday evening, January 28th, the perpetrators are still on the run, as the police reported on Monday.
Attentive witnesses alerted law enforcement and provided first aid.

The Nuremberg Police Homicide Squad is now investigating an attempted murder and is looking for witnesses.

The injured man was taken to hospital with several cuts to his upper body, according to further information.
There was no danger to life on Monday.
The police did not provide any information about the weapon used.
