Once again the ED19 Erding-Eitting district road: A serious accident with several injuries occurred on the winding and narrow route on Tuesday afternoon.
Eitting - Shortly after 4 p.m. the fatal head-on collision occurred not far from the Reisen turnoff.
The cause is still unclear.
An Opel Adam was involved, which came to a stop next to the road after the impact.
It was driven by a woman from the Erding district.
The VW Passat, also with an Erdinger license plate, overturned due to the force of the impact and remained on its roof.
The emergency services rescued a father and his child from him.
All three people involved were moderately to seriously injured; one of them was flown to a clinic in the Christoph 1 rescue helicopter.
Two emergency doctors, three ambulances and the Eitting, Berglern and Erding fire departments were at the scene.
The street was completely closed until the evening.
