Waakirchen – A young man on an e-scooter hit a child in Waakirchen on Sunday (January 28th).
The police are now hoping for clues.
As the Bad Wiessee police station reports, a normal Sunday outing escalated on Sunday afternoon.
A family of nine was traveling on go-karts in the Waakirchen municipality and was quickly overtaken by a young man on an e-scooter.
As the family drove along the foot and cycle path from Schaftlach towards Waakirchen, the young man on the e-scooter came towards them again.
After the man - according to the father of the family's description, between 17 and 22 years old - drove his e-scooter very quickly past the seven-year-old child on his go-kart, the boy shouted whether it was still possible.
According to the police report, the young man then turned around, drove up to the seven-year-old, insulted him and hit him on the head with the palm of his hand.
“Completely perplexed, the parents tried to intervene, but the e-scooter driver fled,” the police said.
The e-scooter driver is estimated to be around 1.85 meters tall and of normal stature.
He was wearing a shiny black winter jacket with white lettering and blue loose jeans.
He had short blonde hair, no beard.
The Bad Wiessee police are asking for information about the perpetrator by calling 08022/98780.
