Water in Shashon:
The long rain episode that started last Monday continues today.
By the end of the week, precipitation is expected to fall throughout Israel that will add water to the Sea of Galilee, to the water reservoirs, springs and streams.
The rains in recent days made a significant contribution to the rise of the Kinneret's water level: according to the water authority's measurement, the level stands at 210.80, and there was an increase of 5 cm in just the last day. The level is only about 2 meters from the upper red line.

According to the data of the Water Authority, the highest rainfall in the last week is Netanya, with 170 mm of rain. Good amounts of rain also fell in the north, and at the Hermon site, snow accumulated to a height of more than a meter.
Today the winds will weaken and rain will fall at times, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, mainly in the north of the country and along the coast.
There is a fear of flooding.
It will snow in Hermon, and light snow is possible on the peaks of the northern mountains of 900 meters and above.
In the rest of the country, a temporary lull in the rains is expected, but they will return in the afternoon to the central mountains as well, and there is a fear of floods in the Judean Desert.

The rains will continue tomorrow in the north of the country and in the center.
The winter system will also continue on Friday, and will probably begin to weaken this coming Saturday, and will end on Sunday.
