Felix Baumgartner is not only a sports legend in Austria, but also a controversial person.
Once again he lost his tone.
Vienna - During the corona pandemic, Felix Baumgartner (54) joined a number of people who spoke out against the government's measures.
Four years ago, he called for “political disobedience” because the mask requirement was a thorn in his side.
The prominent extreme athlete used his reach on social media to propagate things like that the “absurd mask requirement must be lifted.”

In his text to his followers at the time, he even described the masks as counterproductive and he thought a simple “cough into the crook of his arm and the clothing removes the moisture from the virus” would make more sense.
In 2012 he jumped from almost 40,000 meters, the deepest free fall and highest speed without a stabilization parachute.
Not only from up there, but also from below, Baumgartner has his own unique view of the world.
He once also called for a “moderate dictatorship”.
Now he attacked Florian Klenk (50), a journalist, because he praised his corona vaccination for the mild course of his illness.

If that doesn't help, a lawsuit.” It was useful for some users who deleted their post, but not for Baumgartner.
“Isn’t that sweet?” Baumgartner began on Facebook.
“The (Corona) sick Mr. Klenk (who likes to get into every fight on Twitter) is threatening us with a lawsuit and so that it doesn't look as if he wants to enrich himself personally, he is asking everyone who has shared my post to donate first to a children's hospice," continues Baumgartner, who is as "less afraid of it as he is of Corona." Even in Baumgartner's posts that are not about vaccination, some still shoot against Klenk.
Major portals have already reported on his worst political gaffes.
