Accenture has inaugurated a new corporate center in Palazzo Marignoli, in the heart of Rome, a city where it employs more than 6,600 people and plans to hire another 400 by next August.
The capital is allocated around 30% of the national plan of 4,000 hires for this year.
The new multipurpose spaces include an immersive room in which, through generative artificial intelligence, organizations can touch the potential of new technologies applied to different sectors and PA.
This inauguration represents another stage of the broader Forward Building program which, with a total investment of 360 million euros, aims to rethink spaces across the national territory through new working models.
“The decision to strengthen our presence in Rome, with a new headquarters and a dedicated hiring plan that expects to reach 7,000 people by the summer, is the result of a growth strategy that sees Italy playing a key role in Accenture at an international level” declared the president and CEO of Accenture Italia, Mauro Macchi.
“For almost 70 years we have been active throughout the national territory to support organizations in their transformation paths and we contribute to the modernization of the country with particular attention to the development of the South, where today we already have 4,000 talents.
At a time when technology evolves at unprecedented rates, we want to be a partner of change for the PA, institutions and organizations, building innovation hubs that allow the country to compete in a historical moment in which Generative Artificial Intelligence allows a technological leap, capable of operating a real 'restart of the system', which places all European states at the same level", added Macchi. “The birth of the Accenture Corporate Center can concretely contribute to the creation of the ecosystem national level that must develop around AI", declared the undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council with responsibility for technological innovation and digital transition, Alessio Butti. The new headquarters will enrich the network of offices and innovation centers for the development of skills specialized companies already present in cities such as the People Hub of Rome Shanghai in the Eur Torrino district and innovation centers such as AGIC, the first in Italy dedicated to PA innovation, ACIC, to develop and implement latest generation cloud solutions and the new Gen AI Studio which, like its "twin" in Milan, wants to accelerate the adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence among organizations.
This strategy is also consolidated by acquisitions such as the recent Customer Management IT and SirfinPA, two Roman companies that offer technological services and solutions in the sectors of Justice and public security.
