Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Wednesday) with representatives of the families of the abductees in his office in Jerusalem.
The meeting was attended by 26 participants from 18 families of the abductees. Also, the prime minister in charge of the abductees and the missing was accompanied by Lt. Col. Gal Hirsh, head of the National Security Council Tzachi Hanegbi, military secretary to the prime minister, Col. Avi Gil, and Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fox.
At the beginning of the meeting, and after the political summit was held in Paris at the beginning of the week to formulate a deal that would return the abductees, he said: "We are making every effort. The more publicity this effort receives, the more distant it becomes, and the more discreet this effort is, the greater chances it has of succeeding. Naturally, and for these two reasons, I am limited from sharing with you."

The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to formulating a deal for the return of the abductees: "I want you to understand that we are truly committed in the full sense of the word, this is not said from the outside. This is a real effort, not fictitious and not for some appearance - but out of our commitment to return everyone. The thought is On everyone, the effort is on everyone. It is too early to say how it will take place, but it is an effort that takes place these days, in these moments, in these very hours."
