He was not convinced:
Minister and cabinet member Itamar Ben Gabir returned and threatened today (Wednesday) that he would not agree to a "promiscuous deal", in what will be remembered as the "goat speech".
"We heard in the media leaks and briefings with exaggerated and delusional numbers of what Israel is supposed to give to Hamas for that Nazi organization," the minister referred to the first reports of a deal that included the release of thousands of terrorists.
After that, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made it clear twice that he would not agree to this and withdrawal from Gaza.
However, the minister said: "As part of a deal to release hostages, it was apparently a goat, that the beginning of this goat was to prepare the land. This is a promiscuous deal by any measure. I want to say unequivocally, Mr. Prime Minister - hundreds of IDF martyrs are not Goats, the members of the families of the dead are not goats, the residents of the south are not goats, the citizens of Israel are not goats and I am not a goat either."
"I say even from this stage in the most explicit way that we will not allow a situation where Hamas wins here, we will not allow a deal whose purpose is Hamas victory. We will not allow thousands upon thousands of murderers to be released from prison."
