An expensive SUV crashes into a baklava shop in Darmstadt, injuring a man.
It is claimed online that a well-known rapper was driving the car.
Darmstadt - Tuesday, around 4:20 p.m.: A high-powered SUV crashes into the window of a Turkish bakery shop on the corner of Elisabethenstrasse and Grafenstrasse in Darmstadt.
The driver gets out, simply leaves his badly demolished white Audi Q8 and leaves the scene of the accident without permission, even though a 23-year-old customer in the store was injured by the impact and had to be taken to hospital.
The next day, the police are still asking about the identity of the driver involved in the accident and are asking for information about the exact cause of the accident.
The police report states that the car left the road at the intersection for “a cause that is still unknown.”
There is talk of several tens of thousands of euros in damage.

A well-known rapper is named as the driver in YouTube videos
The layman wonders that the license plate number of the Audi Q8 that was left behind may have given the police clues about the driver.
And in fact: online people think they know exactly who was in the SUV.
Several YouTube videos claim that eyewitnesses saw a well-known local rapper and "a few other people who were there" at the scene of the accident.
There are also several eyewitnesses in a grow shop that is located on Elisabethenstrasse in the backyard of the Baklava store and sells accessories for growing cannabis.
They claim the well-known rapper is a regular customer there.

Video shows two men casually walking away after the accident in Darmstadt
One of the videos shows two men in sweatpants getting out of the car after the accident and strolling away in an almost provocative manner.
In the video you can also see how the SUV races at full speed into the window of the baklava shop in the 30 km/h zone, missing a passer-by by a hair's breadth.

A video shows the devastation in the store;
The shop owner announced that he would have to close his business for two days, it says.
It is apparently still unclear to the police which of the occupants was driving the car, even though, as can be seen in the YouTube video, they questioned Soufian at the scene of the accident.
There are no skid marks visible at the scene of the accident.
