Residents of five states who ordered take-home Chick-fil-A food online between 2019 and 2021 may be eligible to receive up to $29.25 in cash or a gift card as part of a class-action settlement.

The lawsuit filed in Georgia in October alleged that Chick-fil-A made

misleading promises

about delivery costs for orders through its mobile app and website during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chick-fil-A denied the allegations and any wrongdoing in the deal, according to its claims eligibility page.

Who can file a claim?

Residents of Florida, Georgia, California, New York and New Jersey who placed delivery orders through the Chick-fil-A One app or on the company's website between November 1, 2019 and April 30, 2021,
