Christin Stark will again present the “hits of the month” on Friday (February 2nd).
However, she has to forgo two guest appearances by music stars.
Leipzig – Since February 2023, Christin Stark (34) has been presenting the most successful national hits and pop songs in the MDR program “Die Schlager des Monat”.
Matthias Reim's wife (66) always invites musical guests to the studio.
However, for the edition on February 2nd, she will have to make do without two announced greats from the pop world.
Christin Stark: These “hit of the month” guests canceled on her
“A very small catastrophe happened,” says Stark in an

greetings to her fans from the MDR broadcast center in Leipzig in an
Instagram story and reports: "We're currently filming the 'Schlager of the Month' here."
According to the report from the Schlager portal, there will also be a video interview with Marie Reim (23), daughter of Michelle (51) and Matthias Reim, in the show.
The singer is about to make a big appearance: with her song “Naiv” she will compete in the German ESC preliminary round on February 16th and fight for a place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
Christin Stark is the “Schlager of the Month” successor to Bernhard Brink
In December 2022 it was announced that Christin Stark, who has been married to Reim since 2020 and has a daughter with him, will take over the show “Die Schlager des Monat” from Bernhard Brink (71).
“I'm really looking forward to moderation [...] A new, wonderful and, for me, artistic task that I've never experienced before,” explained the musician in a statement.
