From fashion to music, from Mare Fuori to the Sanremo Festival.

For Clara, 2023 was a turning point and "participation in the festival is the crowning of a period of great change".

Twenty-four year old from the province of Varese, Clara - who won Sanremo Giovani just over a month ago, rightfully gaining a place among the Bigs - had clear ideas from an early age and soon abandoned studying the piano in favor of singing .

To pursue her dream, "I knew I wanted to sing, I wanted it badly", she moved to Milan at a very young age.

"By modeling I started to save some money, then I dedicated myself body and soul to music", she says.

But it wasn't easy and before arriving at the Ariston, where she will sing Diamanti Grezzi written with Alessandro La Cava, there were dark moments.

"During the lockdown I published on Instagram, with the help of my brother, the music I had made up to that point and I signed with a label, but then things didn't go the way I wanted. I had great financial anxiety to on one side and responsibility towards myself on the other. My desire for perfectionism didn't help, they were two difficult years and I ended up never leaving the house again."

But in the sliding doors game, the opportunity came with the role of Crazy J in Mare Fuori, the cult Rai drama.

"I was also asked to write two songs for the series, I didn't know if I would be up to it, but from there my life was turned upside down. I threw myself in, and thank goodness", says the girl who since February 1st on RaiPlay she will once again play the role of the Milanese rapper.

"With Crazy J I only have a passion for music in common, she is a hothead. On the Ariston stage, however, I hope to bring my 'cazzimma'. Mare Fuori was a great stage and a great opportunity to know my music. I didn't think people could immediately separate the character from Clara."

The other great opportunity came with Sanremo Giovani, which she won with the song Boulevard.

And now Ariston's test: "With Diamanti Grezzi I try to tell a little about myself and life in general, about the importance of accepting yourself: guys, perfection is impossible to achieve, but you have to throw yourself into it."

For the covers evening she has called Ivana Spagna as a guest, together they will sing Il Cerchio della Vita, soundtrack of the 1994 animated film The Lion King. Alongside them will also be the children's choir of the Teatro Regio of Turin.

"Spain was fantastic, humble and generous with advice. The best of all was when she told me that a career isn't based on a single that did well. For me it was Origami all'Alba, which made me explode But I realize that it is only the beginning of a journey."

Then on February 16th she will release her album Primo di lei,

"in which my whole self is contained, the one who laughs and the one who cries. I didn't yet feel ready for a job of my own, but after this extraordinary year, I understood that it was the right time".

The album will also include the generational song Ragazzi Fuori, which is the soundtrack to Mare Fuori 4. And after the first festival, the first album, also the first tour in March.

"Wrongly, we go too fast and I started to appreciate every little thing, to enjoy every moment. I will do the same with this tour. Music is not to be taken for granted."
