Less than two months after the femicide of Florencia Aranguren (31), the young woman
murdered on a beach in Buzios
, the Brazilian Justice is advancing in the case against Carlos José de Franca (32), the only accused.
In a hearing held on Tuesday, it was decided that the detainee be tried by a jury.
The crime occurred last December 6 on a path that leads to José Gonçalves beach, where the girl's body was found along with her dog.

Florencia Aranguren had arrived in Buzios to spend the summer season until her Italian passport is issued, which she processed with the purpose of staying and living in Europe.
On Wednesday, December 6, two days after arriving in that country, where she planned to combine vacations with work during the summer, the young woman went for a walk with her dog, Tronko, on a path near the beach in the José Gonçalves neighborhood. , in the southern area of that spa town.

According to the images from a security camera, at 7:05 Florencia was walking along the sidewalk of an asphalt strip without vehicular traffic, carrying her dog on the leash and with a dark backpack on her shoulders.
The last images recorded by a camera show the young Argentine with a serene step and at the same pace as her pet.
At the end of the filming, she turns right and disappears.
Then the horror happens: the girl was found murdered on a path that leads to the beach.
According to sources from the local council, it was
a neighbor who was walking along the path who found the body and notified the police.
After this alert, the troops moved to the scene and next to the victim's body was her dog, which had blood stains, the sources added.
