Last week, the head of the LFI deputies, Mathilde Panot, announced that she would attend this tribute which will be held at the monument for the victims of terrorism, on the Esplanade des Invalides.

,” accuse the families of the victims in the letter.

“We thank you very much for wanting to honor the memory of the victims, and hope that this tribute takes place with the greatest respect and real solemnity

,” they write again, accusing LFI in particular of

“bearing a very heavy responsibility in the explosion of Judeophobia

in our country

Contacted, the coordinator of the movement, Manuel Bompard, did not wish to react to this letter.

Since the outbreak of the conflict, the movement has remained mired in a series of controversies, notably refusing to qualify Hamas as a

“terrorist”
