Wolfratshausen - The farmers' protests continue: Immediately before the general debate on the budget and the decision on agricultural diesel regulations in the Bundestag, a nationwide day of action by the farmers' association will take place on Wednesday, January 31st.
As the Bavarian Association of Bavaria (BBV) reports, farmers throughout Bavaria have registered protests at motorway entrances between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - so disruptions are to be expected at many junctions.
The Bad Tölz district in the north is also affected.

The Tölzer district office, as the assembly authority, has approved tomorrow's protest action by the district farmers' association under the motto "For the retention of agricultural diesel".
The demonstrators will position themselves with their vehicles in a parking lot near the Wolfratshausen motorway entrance (access road B11 A) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - 15 of them have been registered.

According to BVV, the protest is directed against the additional burdens on local agriculture announced by the traffic light coalition.

“The federal budget should be filled with money from agriculture and we farmers will be left alone with the additional burdens,” criticizes BBV President Günther Felßner.
“While a large part of the population supports our protests and many other sectors of the economy are taking to the streets with us to draw attention to current problems, the traffic light has switched to stubborn,” Felßner continued.
“Our actions are a cry for help: This government is putting the future of local agriculture at risk.
We cannot and must not allow this.”
