Neunburg vorm Wald – A fire in a luxurious hotel in the Upper Palatinate led to the evacuation of 60 guests.
The police reported on Monday, January 29th that a clothes dryer in the basement of the building in Neunburg vorm Wald (Schwandorf district) had caught fire.
At least no one was injured in the incident.

The cause was probably a technical defect – the tumble dryer caught fire
The cause of the fire in the tumble dryer was probably a technical defect in the device, reports the police.
Fortunately, there were no injuries in the incident on Sunday afternoon, January 28, a spokesman confirmed.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
After the building was ventilated, guests were allowed to return to the hotel approximately two hours after the fire began.
The police estimated the damage caused at around 30,000 euros.
