Holzkirchen – Around 250 citizens followed the call of “Holzkirchen stands up” for an anti-traffic light rally in the Herdergarten on Saturday.

After the convoy with a good 200 vehicles through Holzkirchen organized by “Holzkirchen stands up” at the beginning of January, the focus was now on the dialogue between citizens and freight forwarders, craftsmen, medium-sized businesses and farmers who were annoyed by the traffic light government.

Several speakers from these sectors agreed.

Master carpenter Josef Vogl: “Something has to change”

Not only as an entrepreneur and employer of 40 employees, but also as a family man and citizen, master carpenter Josef Vogl was the first speaker to vent his displeasure.

Instead of taking care of the fears and needs of their own people, “an incompetent chancellor and similar ministers” have lost their trust.

“We got high inflation, excessive bureaucracy, a devastating migration policy, a completely failed energy policy and also the selling off of German citizenship,” said Vogl.

He demanded: “Something has to change, it's enough now, stick together, get involved, inform yourself and inquire.” Vogl assumed that the media would not be the first choice for this: “They write as they need it. “

Master butcher Georg Kleeblatt Sr.: “Peaceful Democrats”

At the age of well over 80, master butcher Georg Kleeblatt Sr. also appeared.

to the lectern: “It’s nice that we are here together, we are not citizens who have strayed to the right, but rather peaceful democrats.”

He also denounced high taxes and that work should be worth it again.

“In the 1960s, an ordinary employee could afford to own a home, but today that is practically impossible.

Instead, the billionaires are doubling their fortunes every year and the queues at the food banks are getting longer and longer,” complained Kleeblatt, who was head of the butcher’s coagulation for 38 years.

High taxation and requirements are problematic for producers

He stated in solidarity: “Why are we butchers and bakers also standing up now?

Because we want to work with farmers to produce regional food made from meat, grain and vegetables from the region for our citizens.” With high taxation, ever new requirements for animal welfare and immensely time-consuming documentation, it is no wonder that more and more producers are giving up.

“If this continues, under this incompetent Minister of Agriculture and Food we will just be importing pork from eight-story fattening farms from China, where there is definitely a lot of animal welfare,” predicted Kleeblatt, recalling that a similar exodus has already taken place in the drug production sector and is often regretted today.

After Vogl's and Kleeblatt's statements, other speakers followed, all of whom then took part in a citizen dialogue.

After around three hours, the peaceful demonstration, which also gave opponents of the planned asylum accommodation at Vivo in Warngau a stage, ended as planned.
