Starnberg - The waste app from the municipal waste management company Awista Starnberg not only has a new design.
The revised app offers many new functions for more efficient waste disposal.
The app has been optimized with user experience in mind and equipped with additional features.
In order to give many citizens access to the functions, the new design emphasized “intuitive usability,” explains the company.
What is new is the optimized display of waste dates.
Users of the app can now immediately see when the next emptying will take place.
The frequently used personalized reminder function remains.
A “Waste-AZ” was integrated into the app to support citizens in the optimal separation of waste.
Exchange and give away items
In addition, interactive maps of recycling centers in the Starnberg district are now available via app, which show the opening times in addition to the addresses.
A section “exchange and gift market” was also included.
Previously, Awista's own exchange and gift market could only be accessed via the web address.
From now on, app users can list and offer items that are too good to throw away for free directly via the app.
Thanks to the redesign of the app, users now have the opportunity to better access press releases and current information as well as to register for the newsletter.
Feedback options offer users the opportunity to report on experiences and thus continuously ensure improvements and adjustments.
Waste-AZ for optimal waste separation
“With the new design and additional functions, we want to ensure that the waste app not only remains an indispensable tool for waste disposal in the Starnberg district, but also represents a user-friendly and innovative solution for our citizens,” explains Christoph Wufka, Board of the municipal company.
The updated waste app is now available free of charge on common platforms.
If citizens have any questions about waste disposal, the employees of the service center are available on 08151/2726-0 from Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
