On the eve of the second holiday of Sukkot Uri Danino was hosted by the family of his partner Liel Avraham.

At midnight he hugged his mother and said goodbye to go to the Nova festival.

"What party are you going to? It's late, what is this nonsense," she remarked to him.

Half an hour passed and if his girlfriend saw that he was still sitting in the sukkah.

She asked why he didn't go, and he mentioned that she told him not to.

"I was laughing, go," she answered.

About ten hours later he was kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

Uri, who celebrates his 25th birthday today, loves techno and trance music.

especially like

He installed advanced speakers in his car so that they could hear the bass loudly.

At every wedding he went to with Lyall, he made her stay until the end, until the DJ starts to kick up a gear with electronic music.

But he didn't really go to parties much.

Nova waited expectantly for a long time.

"Everything is fine, everything is good," he reassured his partner who checked on him when the alarms started in a voice message he sent her at 06:30, four hours after he arrived at the party.

About an hour later she called him and he said in a whisper that he could not speak.

"I'm hiding in the forest and there are terrorists shooting people," he updated, and sent her a location on WhatsApp.

His path followed his escape route from Hamas.

At 08:40 they talked one last time during his trip.

"I can't talk to you, I travel like a psychopath. I love you," were the last words she heard from him.

At this point, she called his brother and said that he should inform his Shabbat-observant parents.

He went to the party with a friend, who introduced him to Omar Shem Tov and the brothers Mia and Itai Regev.

It was from him that the family heard about the sequence of events after the last conversation.

After hiding in the forest, they each managed to get back to their car and drove through an open area while loading the escapees from the nova into the car to save them.

When they reached the road, Uri sent him a message and asked him to give him the number of Omar, Mia and Ithi.

The friend called and urged him to continue the journey, but Uri chose to make a U-turn and return to the Reim parking lot in an attempt to save all three of them.

"Waited for Nova with great anticipation."

According to Liel, when they returned from captivity Itay and Mia said that Uri "performed excellently", that he managed to reach them and tried to escape with them until they came across a white van of terrorists, who shot in their direction.

Uri instructed them to bend down, and when they opened their eyes, Uri's door was open - and he had disappeared.

The official notification of his abduction was received after 30 days.

The brothers did not even know that Uri had been kidnapped until they returned.

Although they were not together with him in captivity, they make sure to mention Uri's name in speeches and interviews since they were released.

"We escaped from the party together with Omer Shem Tov and Uri Danino, who returned to the party area and saved us," said Mia at the rally for the release of the kidnapped held in Herzliya.

Lial hoped that they would return with a sign of life from him, and she was deceived.

He was apparently taken in a separate vehicle and there was no one who recognized him in captivity and returned to the book.

His relatives have not heard anything about his fate since the day of the kidnapping.

"Loves techno music".

"No one saw him there, we talked to everyone. When Eti and Mia came back we thought we'd find a tip or something that would calm things down, but he wasn't kidnapped with them in the same van. This only raised the concerns even more," Lial shared in a conversation with Walla!.

"Every time in the reports about a deal, they say that young people are at the end, men at the end. Sometimes I find myself praying that he is injured, that I will at least get to see him."

The couple planned to move in together in November.

They were debating between Tel Aviv, her place of residence, and Jerusalem, her place of residence, or one of the settlements in between.

The day after the massacre, they arranged to go see an apartment.

He was supposed to start studying for a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, she stopped her special education studies following the disaster that befell her.

Life is on hold.

"My dreams, my plans, my future, everything was kidnapped with him in Gaza," Lial says painfully.

"All of these are intertwined and woven together with his dreams. We get up in the morning together and we have plans for the next month, the next year and the next decade. Everything froze."

"My future is abducted with him in Gaza."

One of the most prominent difficulties is the lack of an expiration date for the stagnation she mentions.

"The feeling has not changed since the first moment. We are all still on October 7. There is no routine, no nights, no days, no pleasures. We live 117 days in uncertainty that gnaws at the bones from the inside," she says.

"Uri is the most charismatic and dominant person in the room. His smile goes everywhere, he always sees the other person as he sees himself," she testifies about him.

Now all she had to do was wait.

"We trust him and know he is strong. We try to maintain optimism and believe with complete faith that he will return safe and sound."
