Mandatory sorting of bio-waste since January 1: in Oise, “there is still a way to go”

To reduce the tonnage of household waste bins, the 21 local authorities in Oise must, since January 1, offer their residents a solution for sorting food waste, or bio-waste.

“Some turned a deaf ear until December 31, but it’s started,” assures Michel Méline, composting trainer at Corrélation.

The association is a member of the Citizen Compost network and distils good practices to Oisiens based on the charter of the Environment and Energy Management Agency (Ademe).
