This is how Prime Minister
Giorgia Meloni summarized the objectives of the Agreement for the Development and Cohesion Fund 2021-2027 signed between the government and Valle d'Aosta
which, she explained,
"mobilizes 37 million euros, and with the co-financing quota we arrive at 44 million euros.
Four had already been advanced in 2021".
"Seven interventions are financed with these resources - continued the Prime Minister, before signing with the president of the Valle d'Aosta Region,
Renzo Testolin
, and the photo with the mayors -. The resources are concentrated on some priorities, the right to education and energy transition. The university student residence at Palazzo Cogne in Aosta serves to defend the right to study and to make the university more attractive. Then the Polo Manzetti, with the construction of the gym and the renovation of the building, an initiative on which 20 million in total."
On the subject of energy transition, the Prime Minister mentioned the creation of the "single power plant for the supply of electricity and production from completely renewable sources, which will be used for the university and the hospital".
"Where the Aosta Valley grows, the nation as a whole also grows. You can count on us.
As far as European issues are concerned, you are represented in Europe as long as Italy is represented, which seeks to have an authoritative voice on dossiers" .
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said this at the signing of the Agreement for the Development and Cohesion Fund 2021-2027 with the Aosta Valley, thanking the President of the Region Renzo Testolin for having expressed "the Region's demands towards the government: I consider it right, what we have seen in recent months says that there is full willingness to collaborate on the part of the government".
"Valle d'Aosta has been virtuous in the management of European funds - he continued - but this has not been the case for everyone in the past. And in the situation Italy is in, we cannot afford that the resources that are available to citizens are not reach the ground."
