More than 10 protesters were arrested today (Wednesday) near the Kerem Shalom crossing, when they tried to block the humanitarian aid trucks from entering the Gaza Strip.
"Severe violence was used by the police on the spot," reads the message of Order 9. "This is a testing time. We call on all the people to come here to the Kerem Shalom crossing, for the sake of the soldiers and the abductees - no aid should pass until the last of the abductees returns."
Earlier today, following the demonstrations, the IDF also defined the Nitsana crossing as a closed military area. In recent days, the "Order 9" organization, together with some of the families of the abductees, moved to demonstrate in the area after the Kerem Shalom crossing was defined as a closed military area. In a letter sent by the Ramat Regional Council The residents of the Negev were informed about changes in the traffic arrangements in the area.
