They come from the same family, grew up in the same difficult suburb of Villiers-le-Bel (Val-d'Oise) and yet... Yvon was born in 1977, Wilfried in 1979. One studied, has landed a stable job, has an entrepreneurial spirit and is involved in the community life of his hometown.
The other had a tragic end, shot twice at the age of 35, the epilogue of a neighborhood rivalry maintained for years between two young people who did not want to lose face.

Since the death of his little brother Wilfried on March 17, 2016, a question has haunted Yvon: “What could I have done to prevent this from happening?”
» With his desire to act for the neighborhood, to “not betray it”, the questioning finally takes the form of an introspection book, in order to “show the youngest, through our two stories, that there has another possible route when you come from the neighborhoods.”
