"With the conversion into law of the Energy Decree, today Italy is stronger in the face of climate challenges".
This was declared by the Minister of the Environment and Energy Safety, Gilberto Pichetto, on the final approval by the Senate of the Energy Decree.
"The provision - adds the minister - accompanies companies on their decarbonisation path, developing renewable energy supply chains, which can help us achieve our objectives outlined by the Pniec".
"We also pay attention to mandatory environmental issues - continues Pichetto -, such as those relating to waste management, waste water purification, and determining the deposit for radioactive waste".
"The Parliament, which I thank, has improved the text - concludes the minister -. A good signal for the country that presides over the G7, and which has put growth through sustainability at the center of its action".
