Police in Middletown, Pennsylvania, reported this Tuesday that they have arrested a person of interest in the murder of his own father, who was found dead in the bathroom of his home, according to our sister network NBC News.
Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla explained that the person of interest had been found about 100 miles (160 kilometers) away from the house where his father was found dead.
Authorities
have not identified the victim or the person of interest
in their custody.
They have also not explained what their motive would have been for committing the alleged homicide.

According to authorities, police officers responded around 7:00 pm Eastern Time to reports that a person had died.
Middletown Township Police Chief Joe Bartorilla reported, as quoted by the news station, that the victim's son was in the father's car.

Detective Lt. Stephen Forman of the Middletown Township police told NBC News tonight that
"there is no risk to the public
," NBC News reported.
Police have said they are aware of a YouTube video that could be associated with the incident and have obtained copies of it.
Asked if authorities had had prior contact with the person in the video, Forman said they had had
a couple of contacts with him
, some 10 years ago and more recently.

Forman stressed that the investigation is ongoing and that they anticipate having a press conference with Bucks County, Pennsylvania, this Wednesday morning.
