Despite its setbacks on the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul site (14th century), the City of Paris still believes in the real solidarity lease (BRS) model.

By 2026, the City plans to market 1,108 housing units under this special regime resulting from the Alur law.
“It’s a priority for the town hall,” confirms Jacques Baudrier, deputy mayor of Paris, in charge of housing.
Our objective is to reach 40% public housing, including 30% social housing and 10% affordable housing by 2035.” And these constructions under BRS are the figureheads of these moderately priced housing.
“We ultimately aim to build 200 to 300 per year, this is not anecdotal, the BRS embodies the affordable housing of tomorrow,” he adds.
