If you like Turkish food and enjoy looking out over Lake Phoenix, you can now try out a new restaurant.
Instead of going to “Avo Cado”, owner Ahmet Sengezer has been luring his customers to “Turkish Rice” since January 15th, reports the
Ruhr Nachrichten
.
The idea of the new and at the same time old owner: Instead of salads and paninis, Dortmunders should now enjoy Turkish specialties.
These include rice, bulgur or the topping “Köri Soslu Tavuk” with chicken, peppers, onions and curry cream sauce (more news about leisure time in Dortmund at RUHR24).

According to Google, the new restaurant “Turkish Rice” is open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Especially in summer, the location on Dortmund's Phoenix Lake promises an idyllic ambience - because that's when the outdoor restaurants are also open.
A visual highlight when enjoying oriental dishes is the so-called “Thomas pear” on the culture island in Lake Phoenix.
According to the city, the converter at the Hörder factory in the south of Dortmund was used for steel smelting until 1965.
