Several crew members and one passenger were injured during the landing of a plane last Saturday, at the airport in Hawaii.
According to reports in the United States, American Airlines Flight 271 that took off from Los Angeles made a "hard landing" on the island of Maui around 14:00 (local time).
According to the US Federal Aviation Authority, a total of six people were injured in the incident, and these were taken to a hospital before being released a short time later.

The incident took place on an Airbus A320 plane, which had 167 passengers and seven crew members on it at the time of the incident, at the end of which the plane landed in order to undergo service and safety checks.
A spokesperson for the company said: "The safety of our passengers and crew members is our top priority."
Despite this, the Federal Aviation Administration announced that it would investigate the landing.
