When checking heavy goods traffic on the B 472 near Bichl, the Weilheim traffic police officers were wide-eyed on Tuesday.
Bichl - The focus of the controls on federal highway 472 was compliance with driving and rest times, the technical condition of the vehicles and the proper securing of the load.
One craftsman particularly caught the eye with his vehicle, according to the press report.
In addition to the “absolutely bad load” – in this case roof tiles – the truck was “in an almost scrappy condition,” the police wrote.

In addition to numerous rusts on the frame and body and massive oil loss, there was an acute risk of failure of the brake system due to a damaged, rusted brake cylinder.
However, this truck only successfully passed the general inspection (TÜV) this month.
The officers immediately stopped the journey from continuing.
In addition, the police are investigating the alleged inspector of the general inspection, who is said to have certified that the truck was in good condition a few days ago.
