In front of the Fontainebleau court (Seine-et-Marne), around twenty people were mobilized for Ling-Diane Zhang, 25, who has not been found since January 16.
“It’s unbearable to see no progress when it’s been two weeks since my daughter disappeared,” breathes the young woman’s father.
After numerous searches carried out in the Fontainebleau forest without result, the volunteers came to support the family of the medical student, with a peaceful mobilization in front of the court.
Fontainebleau, October 31, 2024. There were around thirty people mobilized before the Fontainebleau court to warn of the disappearance of Ling-Diane, 25, who has been missing since January 16.
“We do everything we can to help them but despite our mobilization we are not professionals.
Our area of action remains limited to searches in the forest carried out until nightfall and the distribution of missing persons notices in the city,” explains Caroline, who manages the Facebook group “Disappearance of Ling-Diane in Fontainebleau” made up of 1,400 members.
“As Ling-Diane is from Houilles, we initially filed a complaint with the Yvelines prosecutor but today we want the Fontainebleau prosecutor to take over the case to facilitate the investigation.
We must speed up,” insists Maître Dominique Nardeux, the family’s lawyer.
The young girl was last seen on January 16 at the Subway restaurant in Fontainebleau.
His phone rang for the last time near Chailly-en-Bière and Barbizon around 6:30 p.m.
Described as being of average build, the medical student is 1.55 m tall and was wearing beige jogging pants, a short black down jacket and white Nike shoes at the time of her disappearance.
