The
City Police arrested
three Colombian criminals
during the early hours of this Tuesday
who stole money and six cell phones from an apartment in the
Caballito
neighborhood .
One of them was
captured while fleeing on a skateboard
, while the remaining two were waiting for him in a car.
The three assailants
entered the country less than a month ago
and one of them did so irregularly.
And for this reason, Buenos Aires officials came out to ask for his expulsion.
The episode occurred at 500 Thompson
Street
.
The suspects
climbed onto a second-story balcony
and entered a property, which was empty at the time.
Agents from Neighborhood Police Station 6B went there, after residents of the building reported that they had heard noises and that they had seen
a rope hanging from a window
.
In addition, a witness assured that one of the criminals had
escaped on a skateboard
along Pedro Goyena Avenue.
Then, the Police launched a
security operation
in the area and managed to capture those involved: one of them was captured in Goyena at 700, while the other two were waiting for him in a gray Ford Focus.
One of the Colombians tried to flee on a skateboard.
They had
75,520 pesos, 22 dollars and six cell phones
that they had taken from the apartment, as well
as the skateboard
that one of them used to flee.
Meanwhile, the vehicle they used was in the name of a deceased person.
The detainees were transferred to the police station and placed at the disposal of the National Criminal and Correctional Court 2, headed by Manuel Gorostiaga, charged with the crime of
robbery aggravated by "escalation", and "in town and in a gang."
Six cell phones, 75 thousand pesos and 22 dollars were stolen.
In the case of Colombians, Buenos Aires officials ask for the expulsion of foreigners who commit crimes

, Minister of Security of the City of Buenos Aires, reported on his X account (former Twitter) that the three Colombians "had entered the country less than a month ago and that one of them did so irregularly."

We will ask the Nation for their expulsion immediately
," he stated, regarding the case of the Colombians.

Furthermore, he completed: "In the City, 1 in every 4 arrested for trespassing has foreign nationality.
We are going to work so that foreigners who commit crimes are expelled
. It is with order."

, also expressed himself on social networks along the same lines: "They had been in the country for less than a month and one of them had entered illegally. That's who we are. asking that he be deported now. Our claim is fair:
a foreigner who steals returns to his country
."
